- The language of instruction in the Environmental Engineering international Master's degree programme is English.
All compulsory modules are taught in English. Students with a good knowledge of German can choose elective modules taught in German.

- The programme can also be completed on a part-time basis with a standard period of study of five semesters. The final certificate will indicate the period of part-time study.
- Application deadline
- Applications can be submitted from the end of April to 15 July each year for enrolment in the following winter semester (starting 1 October) and from early December to 15 January for enrolment in the summer semester (starting 15 March).
International applicants need a preliminary review documentation (Vorprüfungsdokumentation – VPD) from uni-assist to apply for the International Master's in Environmental Engineering. Please plan extra time for this VPD step.

- We are at a pivotal moment in history, during which the global environmental problems we face today – such as air, water and soil pollution, and climate change with the necessary decarbonisation – are the steepest challenges we have ever known. But we are also at a turning point where we have the chance to make a real difference. We urgently need engineering experts from all over the world to help improve the environmental situation and promote the sustainable use of resources.
Our graduates work in the fields of environment, energy, climate protection, sustainability and resource efficiency in almost all sectors: whether manufacturing industry, logistics and transportation, energy and construction industry, or internationally active NGOs.
