The primary objective of Supply Chain Management (SCM) is to secure continuous improvements in competitive advantage and to effectively manage the entire process from strategic planning to execution.
Supply chain management has evolved from a crucial tool for operational enhancement to a strategic element that differentiates competitors. As such, SCM plays a vital role in the success of leading companies, creating value for both the business and its customers. The ongoing need to develop, reconfigure, and optimise supply chains to suit changing conditions necessitates a thorough understanding and application of diverse technological, product, process, geographical, and structural data and insights.
