- The programme is consecutive and builds upon a Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics at TU Ilmenau (Technische Universität Ilmenau), which is a multidisciplinary engineering programme grounded in the disciplines of mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, and information technology.
The integrated bi-national Master's degree programme encompasses the wide range of technical skills required by industry and offers considerable flexibility in subject selection. It offers research-oriented study formats with close ties to industry and business. The degree programme imparts comprehensive fundamentals and significant research and development findings in the field of mechatronics, enabling students to carry out independent scientific work. Graduates are presented with opportunities for employment in industry or research and teaching roles in the field of mechatronics and related areas in both Germany and France.
