Description/content: During the coursework in the first and second semesters, students will have to complete the following modules: Refresher Modules • Laboratory modules Core Modules • Technofunctionality of Food Components • Nutrition and Microbiome in Health and Disease • Energy Metabolism and Regulation • Food Structure Design and Texture Engineering (Food Design) • Molecular Sensory Science (Food Quality) • Sustainability in Food Systems • Food Toxins and Toxicants (Food Toxicology) • Microbial Food Safety from Farm to Fork Technical Elective Modules (choose two modules) • Economic and Environmental Life Cycle Assessment • Molecularbiological Methods to Assess Authenticity, CMO and Veterinary Drugs in Food • Cellular Agriculture Non-Technical Elective Modules (choose two modules) • Business Administration • Innovation and Technology Management • Project Management Principles • Production Planning in Industry Internship Master's thesis *Disclaimer: Modules available for selection are subject to availability.
