- Engineers with interdisciplinary thinking and a broad, methodically scientific foundation in the classical engineering disciplines are guarantors for a progressive and sustainable society. The demand for such engineers is steadily growing worldwide.
The Bachelor's degree course in "Engineering Science" focus on fundamentals and general methods in engineering. The students are introduced to the multifaceted spectrum and diversity of the engineering profession, addressing the core topics:
• mechanical engineering
• process and systems engineering
• electrical and information technology
Through a wide range of basic engineering courses, students are qualified to understand and link different engineering disciplines. This allows an independent, solution-oriented, and interdisciplinary answering of theoretical and application-related questions. Hence, new creative solutions for current and future challenges can be developed using cross-interface synergies.
