The university does not award scholarships or funding!
Target group: Entry requirements: • Bachelor's degree in the field of food technology or a related course of study • Proven enrolment in a Master's degree programme outside Trier University (e.g. in your home country) • The course's language level is B1 in English.
Description/content: The Food Economy and Process Technology study semester offers visiting students the opportunity to choose modules from a wide range of courses in the fields of food management and food technology: • Biotechnology/Genetic Engineering • Cosmetic Chemistry • Food Science in Everyday Life • Innovative Food Process Technology 2 • Marketing • Product Design • Project Management and Key Communication Skills • Sustainable Food Packaging • Unit Operations in Food Technology • Research Project • German as a Foreign Language • German Social and International Business Culture The Food Economy and Process Technology study semester imparts further qualifications relevant for management in the food industry beyond the basics acquired in the Bachelor's degree programme in food technology. Furthermore, there are a number of opportunities for cooperation in applied research activities and project work with a wide variety of real-world companies. In this way, we ensure that our range of courses is constantly in line with current scientific standards and oriented towards the needs of potential employers.
