- Modern societies are subject to constant processes of change. The Social and Political Change Bachelor's programme will help you gain the knowledge and skills to navigate the complexities of modern society.
Why, in which ways and by whom processes of social change take place are fundamental questions that the programme will prepare you to reflect upon academically as well as through "hands-on experiences".
Societies are changing faster than ever before. Digitalisation, climate change, migration movements, the erosion of democratic institutions and growing global social inequality are just some of the key topics that will be addressed throughout your studies.
The BA Social Sciences: Social and Political Change programme is driven by the conviction that the interactions of dynamic societies beg explorations through interdisciplinarity. Our programme is the first undergraduate Bachelor's in the social sciences in Germany that upholds this particular interdisciplinary perspective, and it does so bilingually!
