- The specialisation in "Repository Safety" is another cornerstone of the Master's degree programme in Sustainable Resources and Energy Supply. As an additional pillar, it purposefully complements the specialisations in "Raw Material Extraction", "Recycling" and "Energy", and it expands the topic of the sustainable use of raw materials and energy sources to include the aspect of protecting future generations from the harmful effects of ionising radiation from radioactive waste.
This is an interdisciplinary, practice-oriented and internationally-oriented course of study, and all lectures are held in English. By integrating scientific and engineering skills with socio-political concerns, the specialisation provides graduates with comprehensive analytical, methodological, evaluation and problem-solving skills that open up a very broad professional field of activity.
