Target group: This special language course is aimed at students of economics who want to prepare for a degree course in Germany or who are planning to work at a German company. Anyone who wishes to improve his or her knowledge of German economic terminology and knowledge of economics in general is also welcome.
Description/content: • Expert presentations covering selected economic topics such as marketing, distribution, economic policy, and others • intensive special language training to help you prepare for and follow up on the presentations • practice-oriented extra classes (economic simulations, writing job applications, and role-playing interviews) • reading, listening, speaking, and writing based on selected economic topics • a special economics-related additional programme (getting to know large and medium-sized German companies, banks, and insurance providers) • an overview of the German job market (visiting a job centre and learning how to apply for a job in Germany)
