Description/content: Language instruction with a specific thematic focus (aspects of economics and business administration, European Union, information business as the economy of the future, New Economy or Old Economy) • Technical terminology • Exercises, seminars on current economic and social topics • Lectures on the German language and on German culture and civilisation Please note: Business German is primarily a language course, not a course in economics. Assignment to class levels is not based on students' knowledge of economics. Rather, it is based solely on students' language proficiency. This year's umbrella theme is "Germany Between European Responsibility and Global Challenges".
