- The Master's degree programme is a postgraduate course for students seeking further specialisation of their own choice. Students at the University of Regensburg can explore the following areas of research:
• Arithmetic Geometry
• Global Analysis and Geometry
• Applied Analysis
Students have the possibility to choose a minor subject and general courses.
At the end of the programme, students write their own academic paper - the Master's thesis. The Master's degree course at the University of Regensburg introduces students to current research issues in mathematics. It also provides a strong foundation to pursue a doctoral degree at an international level.
Thanks to the SFB "Higher Invariants" and the Graduate School "Interfaces, Complex Structures, and Singular Limits in Continuum Mechanics" (https://www.uni-regensburg.de/Fakultaeten/nat_Fak_I/GK_2339/) the mathematical faculty is highly visible internationally.
