- At Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, it is possible to study in German (Euromasters – German track) as well as in English (Euromasters – English track). Students will have the largest range of options if they can study in both languages. Half of the compulsory classes are taught in English, and the other half are offered in German.

- The tuition fee for 2025 entry to the Euromasters programme is 5,235 GBP per year / 10,470 GBP total for UK students and 7,875 GBP per year / 15,750 GBP total for international students. Tuition fees are payable to the University of Bath. These fees need to be paid each year of the programme, and many students opt to pay two instalments per year, i.e. four instalments in total. Please check our website for fees applicable in 2026.

- Programme Overview
This interdisciplinary, two-year MA programme is a unique, international study programme that prepares graduates for careers in business, administration, diplomacy, policy formulation and research.
Students learn about EU institutions, European integration, the transatlantic relationship, and comparative welfare states. They focus on the pressing issues Europe faces today such as security, immigration and economic disparity.
The full-time programme consists of four semesters, which are completed at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin‘s prestigious partner universities: University of Bath, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Sciences Po Grenoble and Università degli Studi di Siena.
Study in up to three countries
This network of renowned universities gives students the unique opportunity to complete the programme at a minimum of two and up to three different sites of their choice in Europe and the US.
All students spend the first semester at the University of Bath. They pursue a degree in Contemporary European Studies and experience the European Union from the perspectives of multiple countries, cultures and languages.
Euromasters is a truly European experience with regard to teaching, learning and living! Students in the Euromasters programme receive a joint Master’s degree from the University of Bath (MA in Contemporary European Studies) in the name of all the partner universities.
