Description/content: Today, it is not adequate for executives in industry to only have competent knowledge of e.g. mechanical engineering; a broad sphere of competence is also required. Therefore, this interdisciplinary degree was created, combining manufacturing technology and mechanical design with computer engineering and management science. The technological challenges of modern society and the requirements of the globalised labour market call for an excellent engineering education as well as for a sound additional qualification in the fields of business and management, soft skills and humanities. Therefore, the international Master's degree courses at Hamburg University of Technology (TUHH) include a minimum number of non-technical compulsory elective courses. You are passionate about engineering, but do you want to go beyond? You can combine this course with a part-time MBA programme in Technology Management at the NIT Northern Institute of Technology Management. Thus, you will meet the industry demand for engineers with a business education.
