Additional information on dates, prices and mode of study: The programme takes place on-site at the campus Bad Mergentheim of Duale Hochschule Baden-Wuerttemberg (DHBW). The courses start at the beginning of October (Winter semester 2026/27: October 1, 2026). There are no tuition fees. You will pay an administrative fee of 250 EUR only once. Students applying for the Studienkolleg preparatory programme need to have at least a B1 level of German language proficiency (proven by an official language certificate). Please note: Only a certificate of participation in a language course is not sufficient.
Description/content: The programme prepares for technical and engineering degree programmes at the Duale Hochschule Baden-Wuerttemberg (DHBW). Subjects are German, mathematics, physics, chemistry, informatics, technical drawing, and English. In addition, essential elements of the programme are the following components: • (inter-)cultural training • individual support in writing application letters and CVs • simulation of job interviews and assessment centres • visit to firms and institutions that are corporate partners of engineering programmes • guided company tours and presentations of small and medium-sized enterprises as well as multinationals • excursions to cultural sights • networking events
