- As a rule, first-semester students begin their studies in the winter semester. With the approval of the examination board, enrolment is also possible for the summer semester, which can, however, lead to an extension of the study period beyond the standard duration.
This degree programme may also be studied part-time in cases of professional or specific familial obligations, or due to special health impairments. In this case, the programme lasts eight semesters. Please note that even in the case of part-time study, courses are offered during regular lecture times.
The programme is taught on-site at Chemnitz University of Technology. Individual modules are supplemented by online elements.

- The degree programme offers a comprehensive education in business and economics. Building on Bachelor’s degrees in Economics or Business Administration, it teaches advanced principles in both areas, with an emphasis on sustainability and innovation.
In-depth knowledge in business, economics and interdisciplinary areas is provided in the areas of specialisation. Seminars can be taken to specialise further. The degree programme may be complemented by practical or international perspectives through an internship or a period of study abroad.
