In the first three semesters, you’ll receive professional training along with German language courses as part of the curriculum. This ensures that by the fourth semester, you’ll be ready to attend lectures in German, setting you up for a successful career in the German healthcare sector.
Germany's nursing education landscape is evolving. As of early 2020, the new Nursing Professions Act allows students to earn a nursing degree through a Bachelor's programme. The Deggendorf Institute of Technology (DIT) is one of the few universities of applied sciences in Bavaria offering this innovative programme. Our Nursing degree teaches you to care for patients and support their families. You'll gain the knowledge and skills to handle various care situations and manage the care process independently. With extensive hands-on experience during your studies, you'll develop the competence to professionally assess care scenarios from your own perspective. Upon graduation, you’ll earn a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree and receive state certification as a registered nurse.
