- The research-oriented Master’s degree programme in Chemistry of Functional Molecules and Materials provides students the opportunity to experience chemistry as a key science for solving global challenges. Innovative molecules and materials, which are developed through sustainable processes, play an important role in this. They are used in various fields such as biomedicine, energy conversion, and the chemical industry, for example, as catalysts to manufacture products with greater selectivity, energy efficiency, and effectiveness, thereby contributing to improved healthcare, resource utilisation, and sustainability. The English-language degree programme prepares you for future-oriented research and a career in a comprehensive manner, especially in biomedicine, environmental technology, and the chemical and pharmaceutical industry.
